INSTALLATION REVIEW

THE RIVA SERIES was developed by roofing contractors with an emphasis on ease and efficiency. About the same size as typical asphalt shingles, but twice the coverage area, these panels really go down fast! The patented interlocking system was designed for high performance and easy installation. The panels are delivered in 32 1/4 x 5 3/4 x 12 inch boxes (three boxes to a square) that are easy to handle and roof load. Boxes are palletized for efficient delivery to the job site, or to the roof. Bidding and ordering are simplified with this system because the product is delivered "by the square". Every effort has been made to make this product simple to bid, deliver, and install so that architects and contractors will welcome its use.

THE RIVA SERIES should be installed in accordance with local building code requirements. System installation should specifically comply with guidelines provided by the manufacturer. Installations are recommended on roof pitches no lower than 3:12 without upgrading the underlayment. No sealants are required except in valley installation. Panels connect on all four sides utilizing interlocking mechanisms that allow for quick and easy installation and extreme weather resistance. Panels are secured to the deck by two concealed clips per panel, thereby eliminating thru-system penetration. Trim flashings are pre-fabricated and designed to accept panel starts and terminations efficiently. Fabrications should be made in accordance with recognized sheet metal practices and can be accomplished with standard hand tools. No special tools are required.
